Hi, my name’s Katie

I started Katie Reeves Psychology so that I could connect directly with people who are looking to get more out of their lives. Whether that involves overcoming things that have happened, working through past traumas, communicating better in relationships, or just becoming mentally and emotionally stronger.

I believe everyone deserves to be moving towards their dreams. I know that’s easier said than done, and I’m very aware life’s circumstances tend to get in the way. But my goal in life, my driving purpose, is to be a resource in the lives of people who are looking for more. People who want to move towards being the best version of themselves they can be. I can’t promise to be the solution to your problems, but I can certainly help you get on your way. There’s no topic too big or small, I’m here to help with whatever life throws at you.

Sometimes psychology gets a bad rap for being quite rigid - people picture outdated Freudian concepts and CBT methods that belong in the box they came in. But you won't get any of that here. While there are frameworks I use to guide me, I take a very individualised approach, which I build entirely around you. You will be right at the centre, and each session will be adapted to where you are on any given day. We'll learn, grow and evolve together.

I’ve got a BSc (Hons) and an M. Psych (Clin), and I have 10 years of experience working as a Clinical Psychologist. In my most recent role at the Centre for Corporate Health, I’ve supported employees experiencing a range of workplace and personal issues.

Although I support my clients through whatever issues come up in their lives, I particularly specialise in supporting clients experiencing challenges in the following areas:

  • Achieving your potential

  • Peak performance at work

  • Stress management in high demand/high pressure workplaces

  • Workplace relationships

  • Personal relationships

  • Anxiety

  • Depression
